POSITION OBJECTIVES: The Research Analyst will work within the centralized Client Service Group (“CSG”) and be responsible for interacting with Management , CSG team members, banking institutions, and the different marketing groups throughout PFMAM. The Research Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the pool, CD, and TERM programs. They work extensively and collaboratively with other members of the Client Service Group and the Relationship Management Team with the goal of provide superior client service that will grow assets in our programs and products. This position is not client facing. The specific responsibilities for this role are outlined below.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Maintain administrative responsibility for the daily activity of regional programs and services
Update investor/participant information on internal systems
Investigation and resolution of reconciling items in banking accounts or shareholder accounts
Investigation and resolution of client issues/concerns
Work with the accounting group to resolve all identified cash and share reconciliation differences among programs
Work with banking institutions to resolve all discrepancies between PFM’s records and bank records
Work with Client Services Key Accounts Manager and Client Consultants to resolve client account issues
Administer EON (PFM’s Online System) setup and Investor requests regarding EON.
Maintain and update operational procedures on administered programs and services
Work with Operations teammates to identify inefficiencies in process and participate in creating solutions
Support CSG Processing Manager
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Participate in monthly statement production focusing on visual and information checks
Proficient computer and technical skills:
• Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Access
Actively listens to others
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
Desire to improve processes, take initiative, and solve problems
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field preferred
2+ years of prior financial services industry experience preferred
Attention to detail and accuracy in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
Able to quickly learn complex concepts and seamlessly manage multiple priorities
Compensation includes a competitive base salary, bonus eligibility, and comprehensive benefits package. PFM also offers the option for participation in profit sharing and 401K plans.
