    JOB OVERVIEW

    PFM Asset Management LLC (“PFMAM”), an affiliate of The PFM Group, is currently seeking an experienced financial professional to work with our growing team. This hands-on position reports to the Senior Analyst of Investment Services and will take an integral role in helping to manage new client on-boarding and implement compliance policies for the Company’s clients.

    Responsibilities

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Policy / Compliance Analyst is responsible for a broad range of compliance activities for both new and pre-existing clients and will work closely with the portfolio management and compliance teams.  Also, will assist in Bloomberg AIM related maintenance, enhancements or projects.  This position will be based out of our Harrisburg, PA office, with minimal travel expected.

     

    Specific ongoing responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

    • Coordinating all new client on-boarding for Investment Services in a timely manner with the Client Services group
    • Reading/interpreting new client investment policy statements (IPS’s) and programming them into the compliance system (Bloomberg AIM)
    • Reading/interpreting updated client IPS’s and making needed changes in Bloomberg AIM
    • Programming/testing of new compliance rules
    • Working with other Bloomberg AIM users to investigate compliance system issues and data needs
    • Working with IT/Compliance to develop new data feeds to support compliance rules
    • Provide new account/updated account compliance activity reports to management and other interested parties
    • Assist with MACM trades and transitioning our banks to a SWIFT platform for trade settlements
    • Assist with monitoring or addressing system related alerts, ensuring prompt and accurate resolutions
    • Participate in business initiatives and documenting new processes

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
    • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the asset management / financial services / banking industries with specific experience in on-boarding new clients and dealing with client mandates or compliance and regulatory issues
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access
    • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work well under deadline pressure 
    • Experience with any portfolio compliance monitoring system (Bloomberg AIM) a plus
    • Comfortable working in both Windows and mainframe computing environments
