Public Financial Management (PFM) is seeking an intern to work in our Management & Budget Consulting Group.
The Management & Budget Consulting Group (MBC) turns analysis into results for complex government clients by providing financial, budgetary, operations, and management consultation. Since 1993, MBC has been involved in some of the most significant government turnaround efforts in the country, turning sizable deficits into surpluses in cities, counties and states.
Intern work contributes directly to projects and advises real policy decisions made by government leaders. Interested candidates should be creative problem solvers ready to help government leaders tackle real problems that matter to their communities.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing and research skills, the ability to perform quantitative analysis, and an interest in government, and will be comfortable working in Excel and speaking with government staff on the phone or in person.
Fall positions are part-time (~20 hours per week).
