PFM is currently seeking Public Finance Analysts to join PFM’s West region. These roles represent an exciting opportunity to contribute to both existing and new business, providing substantial opportunities for career growth, innovation and meaningful participation within a growing team.
The Analysts will initially be based from PFM’s Los Angeles, CA office. This Analyst will work in Los Angeles for 18-24 months before having the opportunity to relocate another office within the West region (Seattle, San Francisco, Denver, or remain in Los Angeles), per business needs and the Analyst's ongoing career interests.
Recent graduates, upcoming graduates, and qualified candidates who have 1-3 years of related experience are encouraged to apply.
Bachelor's degree with a demonstrated track record of academic success (minimum GPA of 3.25 / 4.0 is strongly preferred). AmeriCorps, Peace Corps, and other national service alumni are encouraged to apply for employment with PFM.
Demonstrated interest and expertise in public sector / municipal finance desired, as evidenced by 1-3 years of demonstrated post-graduation work experience, preferably in related field (public finance, consulting, engineering) or project management. Entry-level candidates with strong public finance interest will be considered.
Developed problem solving skills and proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges
Demonstrated analytical and financial modeling experience and background preferred.
