    Role Overview

    PFM’s Harrisburg office is seeking a Client Service Manager, which is an integral role within our Client Services Group (“CSG”). This individual will oversee a team of experienced client service professionals, including acting as a manager of our fixed-rate, fixed-term investment programs. The Client Services Manager will be expected to provide support to members of the CSG in order to provide PFM clients with best-in-class client service. The Client Service Manager will also assist with new business development and client relationship management to existing clients. This individual and their team work extensively and collaboratively with other employees and groups within in the organization to provide superior client service.


    • Develop an understanding of PFM’s products, services, and regional sales initiatives, including the fixed-rate, fixed-term investments offered through the Client Services Group.
      • Design and implement client outreach plans to proactively solicit clients with product opportunities and consider seasonal funding needs.
      • Set marketing and sales goals for CSG personnel to market the fixed-rate, fixed-term program.
      • Assists in developing product origination and daily relationship of those providers.
    • Work with Managing Directors and Directors to complete employee reviews and goals for members of the team.
    • Develops and mentors members of the team, maintaining regular communication, and prioritizing workflow and tasks.
    • Supports other sales, marketing, service, and management activities as appropriate.
    • Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback.
    • Work with CSG management and teammates to identify inefficiencies in processes and create and implement solutions.
    • Participant in monthly activities, including the statement production process.



    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
    • 5+ years of highly related experience in a similar role or management position. Related experience in the government, financial services and/or securities industry is highly desirable.
    • Progressive experience managing teams of 5-30 people.
    • Active FINRA Series 6 and 63 certifications required. Employees without active certifications must obtain these certifications as a requirement of continued employment in this role.

    • Familiarity with financial services customer service software.

    • Outstanding project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
    • Willingness to “go the extra mile” when necessary in order to achieve overall departmental and firm-wide goals and meet deadlines.
    • Demonstrates unwavering integrity and instills confidence in others.
    • Desire to improve processes, take initiative, and solve problems.
    • Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications and related technologies.




    Compensation includes a competitive base salary, bonus eligibility, and comprehensive benefits package.  PFM also offers the option for participation in profit sharing and 401K plans.
