  • Overview

    The PFM Group’s in-house legal department is seeking an experienced Legal Analyst to join our team in the Philadelphia, PA office. This person will support the General and Legal Counsel and interface with project managers and senior leaders across the firm.  This position requires flexibility, superior organizational and communication skills, and extreme attention to detail and accuracy.


    Core responsibilities will include:

    • Review RFPs and contracts and provide legal and administrative responses to project teams in a timely manner
    • Review and prepare documents in response to various transactional matters and legal proceedings, including contracts, corporate governance documents, RFP responses and litigation discovery requests
    • Proofread and edit legal documents, such as resolutions, contracts, confidentiality agreements, and other contracts or agreements as assigned
    • Create systems and procedures for document and file management and retention and maintain the legal hold log
    • Conduct legal research
    • Maintain the RFP and Contract modules in CMS / CORE, and the Legal Department’s electronic files
    • Conduct quality control review of executed contracts in CMS / CORE and log Noteworthy Items
    • Train Power Users on CMS / CORE
    • Perform other duties as assigned


    • Experience using and managing upgrades to technology, software systems, and databases to support corporate legal functions and business operations
    • Ability to review and draft non-complex agreements, amendments, reports and business correspondence
    • Experience with entity information, governance and contract preparation and review
    • Meticulous organization and attention to detail
    • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility, and a strong work ethic focused on providing excellent client service
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, proposals, contracts, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
    • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team; self-starter and eager learner
    • Strong communication, inter-personal, and PC skills are essential

    Areas for Growth:

    • Become the project lead for, or provide support on, Legal, Compliance and other interdepartmental projects
    • Responsible for conducting document reviews and responding to responses to subpoenas
