    Responsibilities

    PFM is seeking a Treasury Consulting Analyst to join our relationship support team based out of the firm’s headquarters in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

     

    Analysts will be exposed to a demanding professional environment. They work closely with senior managers to serve client relationships. This position will involve working on consulting projects to help optimize their banking relationships. Projects involve analyzing existing and proposed costs. Through these engagements, PFM helps identify the banking partner that will best meet the client’s operational needs.

    In addition, the Analyst will support our fixed-income clients. Specific responsibilities include portfolio evaluating and reporting, drafting investment policies, cash flow analysis, and marketing initiatives such as preparing proposals and presentations.

     

    Analysts will work and correspond with government officials, bankers, attorneys and other finance professionals. A strong quantitative and technical background is required. The individual selected for this position will have an opportunity to utilize their problem-solving skills, quantitative skills, financial modeling skills, and interpretive abilities to provide innovative solutions to PFM’s institutional clients.

    Qualifications

    Education, Skills, and Experience:
    • Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or a related field preferred
    • Strong academic background (minimum GPA 3.25/4.00)
    • 1 to 3 years of relevant financial, investment, trading or accounting experience desired, but not required
    • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

    Compensation:

    Compensation includes a competitive base salary, incentive / bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package.  PFM also offers participation in a profit sharing and 401K program.
