    Responsibilities

    PFMAM is seeking an investment professional to work as a member of our Portfolio Management team. 

     

    The Fixed Income Trader will be responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, executing trades and assisting in the development of portfolio strategy under the guidance of PFM's portfolio managers. Daily tasks will include executing and processing trades, distributing market and portfolio data to the portfolio management team, and communicating with trading counterparties.

    Qualifications

     

    Education, Skills, and Experience:

    • Undergraduate degree in mathematics, computer science, finance, economics, or a related field
    • Strong academic background (minimum GPA 3.4/4.00 preferred)
    • 1-5 years of relevant financial, investment, trading or accounting experience desired (entry-level candidates with relevant internships will be considered)
    • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
    • Working knowledge Microsoft Office products
